The HP 8X/4X/12X/24X/10X/40X DVD+R/+RW Drive and the DVD+R and DVD+RW media deliver a complete solution for high quality video, audio, and interactive DVD multimedia playable on most set-top DVD players and DVD-ROM drives. Designed for recording digital video and archiving data, the drive can write to DVD+R at 8X, DVD+RW at 4X, CD-R at 24X and CD-RW at 10X. The Drive can also read from industry standard DVD-ROM media at 12X and CD-ROM media at 40X.
The HP DVD+R/+RW Drive is ideal for videographers and corporate, education, government, and traditional entertainment and media customers. The HP 8X DVD+R/+RW Drive writes data at a maximum rate of 10800 Kbytes/sec to DVD+R media and 5400 Kbytes/sec to DVD+RW media. These transfer rates, combined with the capacity of the media, extensive compatibility, and conformance to worldwide DVD standards, make the HP 8X DVD+R/+RW Drive and the DVD+R and DVD+RW media a highly efficient and cost-effective storage solution.
