CREATION
A symbol of free and modern femininity, Amazone was created in 1974 by perfumer Maurice Maurin. This green, floral harmony is inspired by the mythical horsewomen who, legend has it, reigned along the shores of the Black Sea.
OLFACTORY NOTES
A green, floral fragrance, Amazone eau de toilette is a spirited balance between the powdery notes of blackcurrant buds, delicate rose and milky sandalwood.
THE OBJECT
The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The back label is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
