Multipatchcord Extralink 24F SC/APC – LC/PC SM 30M is a specific type of fiber optic patchcord built on the basis of a multi-fiber optic cable. Thanks to the use of a UV-resistant coating, the multipatchcord can be used both indoors and outdoors. At each end of the cable, there are connectors, and their number corresponds to the number of fibers placed in the cable. The selection of types and kinds of connectors depends on the requirements of the specific installation.

To facilitate the installation of the multipatchcord, whether for wall penetrations or when connecting to patch cables (patch panels), there is an option to perform two types of termination – cascading or straight. In the case of cascading termination, each connector is made on a cable of different lengths, which simplifies installation.

The multipatchcord significantly facilitates and speeds up the connection of points. It works perfectly when connecting two patch cables (patch panels) located in different cabinets, for example, in adjacent rooms.
