You want to have a clean cut when cutting cables with a large diameter? With the cable cutter from Wiha, stranded copper or aluminum cables (conductor class 2) with a diameter of up to 62 mm can be easily cut to length. The cable cutter provides absolutely clean, smooth cutting without crushing, while the two-stage ratchet function reduces the amount of force required thanks to the comfortable handle spacing for fatigue-free working. In addition, the cable cutter with ratchet principle offers simple and convenient one-handed operation, additionally aided by the ergonomic and non-slip soft handles with slip guard. Thanks to the emergency release function, the cutting process can be interrupted manually at any time and the cable removed from the cutting edge. The locking lever on the plier head ensures safe and space-saving transport. The insulated cable cutter is subject to routine testing as per the international IEC 60900 standard, thus ensuring safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
