The InLine® PCIe x1 8-port RS-232 interface card is the ideal solution for expanding systems with serial interfaces. Equipped with the SB16C1058 controller, it offers eight independent D-Sub 9 ports for connecting multiple devices simultaneously. Each port has its own 256-byte FIFO buffer for sending and receiving, which enables reliable communication even with high data loads.
The PCIe x1 connection complies with the PCI Express 1.1 standard and is backward and forward compatible with PCIe 2.0 and higher. This makes the card universally applicable in modern PCs, industrial PCs, and embedded systems. It supports various data and stop bit settings, parity checking, and hardware and software flow control. Functions such as IRQ sharing and multi-card operation make the card particularly flexible in complex IT environments.
Thanks to broad driver support for Windows and Linux systems and its robust design, the card is suitable for numerous professional applications – from POS systems and industrial controls to laboratory environments. It is ready for immediate use and comes with a driver CD and instructions.
