The principle is passive cooling for M.2 SSDs with a length of up to 80 mm and only 5 mm height, which results in more power. For an easy installation everything is included in the package: thermal pads and the cooling plate (IB-M2HS-701). First, the heat conducting pad is placed on the M.2 and the cooling plate is then placed on top of this. Due to the low height of the cooling plate, it does not interfere with the installation and thus dissipates the heat very quickly.

Do not disturb!

The compact design makes it fit perfectly on motherboards so that it does not interfere with other components, like a big graphics card.

Thermal pads

Thermal plates are just as heat-conduction paste a medium to optimate the derivation of the heat loss of electronic components.

Cooling plates

The thermal aluminium fins extend the surface to make sure that more heat can be given off to the surrounding area to optimate the performance once again.
